Brewed in collaboration with, and a portion of proceeds being donated to, the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. This amber lager was brewed to really focus on balance. The dry, crackery malt profile has just a touch of toastiness, balanced by a subtle spicy and floral hop profile.

Two inches of off-white, rocky head noisily settles over a few minutes. Some sticky lacing is left on a Pretentious Glass Company mug called "Sparkles". The beer is clear and golden amber, with random, small bubbles of carbonation spontaneously emerging throughout.
The aroma has the sweetness of caramel malt. Some apple juice and mild floral hops find their way as well.
The flavor is crisp and clean, with equal parts sweetness followed by bitterness. Light toasted malt leads to caramel before a lingering, mild finish that ultimately becomes astringent.
A medium body and slick texture with prickly carbonation. Alcohol is as expected as is the dry finish.
This is a decent Red Lager that is reminiscent of Killian's and pizza in Basking Ridge, NJ.
