On tap at Sager/Stoneyard Pub in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light amber-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This doesn’t smell like much, it’s kind of just generically malty.
There’s not really all that much to this one – Stoneyard’s quality has really just dropped over the years. The malt character is just kind of sweet and slightly watery/thin, with nothing all that interesting going on – no toastiness or breadiness, no chocolate, no roast, nothing you’d expect from a Vienna lager.
This is light bodied, and pretty thin, even for the style.
There’s basically nothing to recommend for this one, it’s kind of just completely forgettable.
