Watered down lemon water, maybe I got an awful batch of this, but it was honestly one of my least favorite shandies ever. Though it is not the worst thing, you could drink to get a buzz going, coming in a close second to mouthwash. It's tasteless, generic, and mostly pointless. I like the citrus that comes with a shandy and if this were the first I'd had this would be a different conversation (though this is the first I've reviewed).
It has no distinct taste when you drink it, tasting like a watered-down lemonade but it does have a kick from what I would guess is the coriander. Which confused my mouth in a wrong way, because in terms of execution it failed to be an imitation. With a cover that is supposed to elicit a sort of beach experience or summer beer, it leaves you with a stinging sensation like not brushing your teeth after vomiting.

Way better than the Miller version. This is actually a beer and not a corn beverage, and it's actually cheaper. Refreshing and crisp with lemon peel and coriander. Medium bodied mouthfeel with enough hints of lingering wheat and lemon that draw you to grab a second. Don't expect to be 'wowed' by a summer shandy, but if you are looking for the style, it is far better than the alternative.

Appearance: A cloudy, dull lemon-colored body is crowned by a massive, dense snow-white head., with excellent retention. Belgian-like lacing adorns the glass walls. Fusillades of bubbles race to the surface.
Aroma: Lemon zest dominates the aroma, tangy, but not sweet. There are hints of alcohol, despite the ABV of 4.2%. Faint hints of coriander are present, as well.
Taste: Prominent lemon zest dominates the opening of the taste. Later, some faint notes of alcohol present, surprising at the low ABV of 4.2%. Throughout, there is a wave of citrus, tangy, but not sweet. Finishes with a prominent lemon note.
Mouth feel: Full, soft, and very pleasant.
Drinkability/notes: A wonderful summertime beer, crisp and refreshing. This was purchased at Aldi's for $6.49 for a six-pack, which, in light of the ubiquitous $9.99 craft beer six-pack, seems quite a good deal.
Presentation: Packaged in a 330 ml (11.2 ounce) brown glass bottle with a pry-off cap, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

A cool brew picked up at the local Aldi, let's give it a whirl. Popping the top this brew has the smell of: you guessed it, lemon. Kind of smells like Lemonheads candy. Pours into a pint to cloudy lemonade color with a one finger head. On the taste this brew is very refreshing, authentically lemon tasting like fresh lemonade with a good carbonation for the style and a clean finish. Not overly sweet or sour but a thirst quencher without a doubt. Good example of the style.

I was walking through Aldi the other day. Aldi is like the best place. They have so much great stuff, and the prices are rock bottom low. They have a small beer and wine section, and most of it is decent. I like trying new things especially beers, and having just seen the movie "Lemonade Mouth" this caught my eye so I picked up a six-pack and threw it in the fridge. The following Monday I had to go to work early and didn't get home until 7:30. I was wiped, but I remembered that this was sitting in the fridge.
It's very cloudy with a yellow hue. It has barely any head, but it's a Shandy so you expect it. But the taste. Oh the taste. It's an extremely pleasant fruity taste with just a hint of alcohol. I didn't sense a very strong lemony taste but the sweet fruitiness was strong but not too strong. And it doesn't have high alcohol content so you can drink a lot during a summer block party without getting too sloshed
I went back to Aldi and bought them out. I've been enjoying this almost every weekend this past summer.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a very small, fizzy, white head of foam. It smelled of lemon and sweet caramel. Sweet lemonade-like taste with a touch of tartness.
