A great beer to open the brewery! Dark golden/ orange/ amber, with nice foamy head, lots of thick sticky lacing. Soft piney, citrus hoppy aroma, taste is hops up front with a faint malt backbone. More hops bite on the finish.

Hope this is coming back honestly, Boise Brewing is a spot to go to if you live in Boise or visit for a bit.
It was pretty heavy right away, one of those that you need a minute to let set in before you drink another gulp at first.
I had 32 ounces in the brewery and it's probably my favorite from them so far.
Satisfying in a strange way.

Pours a fairly clear amber/red... off-white/yellow head shows nice retention and lacing.
Nose is fairly big.. Nice mix of toasty malt and light caramel punctuated by plenty of piney hoppiness... well integrated.
Flavor shows piney/lesser citrus hops and pithy bitterness up front and that quickly moves into the dry toast and fermented out caramel maltiness.
Medium/light body with nice drinkability... Enough going on here to make this one a thinker and a drinker.. Well done and certainly the best hoppy beer I've had from BB.
