Wow, a near perfect saison with a hint of ginger spiciness. Ginger accents complement the yeasty, floral aroma. Hazy light golden body, small soapy head. Taste is more like the aroma, with the ginger blending perfectly with the saison flavors. Would go great with soup and salad.

On tap at the brewery tonight... Also have enjoyed this one at PreFunk and Bier Thirty.
Pours a hazy golden with a firm white head and nice lacing.
Nose is all about the ginger... sweet and spicy... ginger delivery device, doesn't exactly smell "hot" but spicy for sure... Base beer smell is pale malt and clovey phenolics.
Flavor has the same heavy ginger hit... burns a bit mid-gullet :-) ... light pale maltiness helps temper the ginger burn and make it more of a nice round flavor... Saison notes are pretty mild ... the spice clobbers the yeasty clove phenols.
Body is light/medium.. perhaps a bit thick for the style... but the ginger actually helps the drinkability for ONE glass.. any more would be too much for me.
Interesting brew by itself.. It would be fun to cook with.
