We aged our Black Cliffs American Stout in a Jack Daniels whiskey barrel to create this special edition beer.

Pours pitch black with a short lived tannish head.... Tons of whiskey makes it a little sharp for such a small stout... Could use more body and maltiness to help balance the barrel flavor. Traditional stout flavors are there but are blown out a bit leaving just some background char and distinctive pithy hop bitterness.
Not bad just unbalanced IMO.
