Filtered, full bodied lager with plenty of earthy German hop character. Very smooth and crisp like a typical lager but almost 6%.

another solid, if a little boring, beer from these guys, who are always steady in my experience. this is a well made lager, somewhat of a german pils character to the malt and hops for me, but with a lager yeast strain thats close to flavorless here. the beer is yellow and bright in the glass, and the head has great retention from the tap. the aroma is light to me, some noble hops, that crackery pils character, doughy for a second, but a little fresher than maybe it normally is in beers like this. subtle straw and honey here too, but all real light. the flavor is similarly light, malt driven though, it just tastes like a beer, but a good one, and frankly i have been more and more into drinkable and approachable beers this summer than ever before, so i appreciate the subtle flavors, the balance, and the crisp dryness that it finishes with. hard to get too excited about a beer like this, but there are a lot of lousy beers in this style around town this summer, so its nice to find one that is rightly done. infinitely drinkable, pretty refreshing, real nice carbonation, basic but good.

On tap at brewery. Pours out a very pale and clear golden with a small soft white, tight head. Aroma and taste is sweet grain, soft and pure, crisp and clean, tasty, refreshing. Perfect summer time beer.

very clear polished golden brew and nice long lasting white head.. Clean grainy pils malt hops are light but not out of style... Nice bitterness on the palate helps balance... Crisp and still a little sweet.. Could IMO use a bit more flavor hops, but no big deal... Good clean lager... Dig it. Glad to see another local lager.
