Intentionally cloudy beer fermented with Wyeast Forbidden Fruit strain which gives the beer most of it's character. The coriander and bitter orange peel also add to the tart, bubblegum flavors the yeast imparts. Easy drinking and flavorful brew! Any wheat, Blue Moon, Belgian, saison beer lovers will enjoy this!

Tap at Boise Brewing. Pretty close to the original, Blanche de Namur comes to mind. Hazy yellow straw body, light wispy head. Aroma is equal parts yeast, white bread and grass. Taste is light and fruity, but fails to finish. All around pretty good.

The appearance was a hazy yellow with a lot of cloudiness going on.
There was a thin white head that dissipated immediately.
The aroma had some funky to somewhat zesty lemon and sweet grassiness. Light coriander tries to blend but dissipates.
The taste follows the aroma and brings in a light tartness.
The mouthfeel was light bodied with a huge sessionable aspect about it. Carbonation is unyielding, yikes, tone that down, please.
Overall, my only qualms with this one was the carbonation on it. Everything seemed fine.

This beer looks like orange juice. It tastes wonderful though: just tart enough, with a nice smack of hops in the middle, and a sweet citrus finish. Thick and satiating mouthfeel. The smell is slight or subtle, but pleasant with a hint of spice, perhaps the coriander. Not sure that I could drink it all night, but I've really enjoyed my first glass!

Couple of pours tonight at the brewery with Buckeyeboy... Pours a milky yellow.. with a thin white head... Nose shows funky sulfur for a bit and then it dies off.. and moves on to heavy spicy phenols for a witbier that sorta drowns out the zest and coriander.. None of the really traditional witbier tartness from the yeast or the wheat... a little weird, but still miles better than many domestic wits.. Okay for sure and shows the bones of a great witbier... Perhaps fermentation temps got too high?
