Growler fill from brewery, brewed for Boise Weekly anniversary party. Nice big lager, everything you like and more. Clear golden with lively carbonation. Aroma is pure grain, without any of the funky/musty/dusty smell sometimes present in the macro AALs. Taste follows with a nice crisp hops bite, finishes with lingering bitterness and an oily, slick mouthfeel. Not your father’s lager, but maybe your grandfather’s.
