Had at the brewery about 8 to10 years ago while visiting relatives in Boise, in September.

Growler fill from brewery. Pours out kind of flat, but gets better, much better. Nutty, roasty aroma, closing in on brown ale. Deep brown in color with small head, but still leaves sheets of lacing. The fresh hops kick the taste up a notch, pleasant bitterness on top of the rich malty body. Bitterness lingers on the palate. Amber on steroids. Well done!
