Canned November 6th 2019. Ooops.
Pours a hazy orange gold with a massive head of foam. Lacing is good.
I get some fruity citrus notes in the smell along some caramel sweetness. The latter IS a bit off but considering the age of the beer and it was on a warm shelf, I will give it some leeway.
Yep, the taste reflects the age. Being a Pale Ale, I expected the hop level of bitterness would suffer, and it did; it's only 5% abv. There's some hint of of tropical fruit going on. I reckon that this would be quite good when fresh.
Good mouthfeel.
Hopefully, I will run into a fresh 4 pack at some point in the future.

Taster at Growler guys. Pale golden, hazy, wispy head. Aroma is slight. Taste also, faint citrus and hoppy notes. This is a session, not a hazy. Pretty standard fare.

the best hoppy beer i have had from these guys so far i think, and honestly maybe one of their best overall. while i really didnt care for their hazy ipa and was even reluctant to order this one because of how lackluster that one was, i am so glad i did, its fantastic, really really good. lightly cloudy but still bright in the glass with a yellowish orange hue to it and a nice frothy head. the aroma is peachy and tropical, juicy without being overdone on the hops, and with a rather unique profile, like starburst candy and crushed pineapple, my mouth waters for it, and i am rewarded on each sip when i get to drinking it, the hop aroma carries through to the flavor really nicely, and the beer overall is incredibly fresh and well balanced. i like there being some white wheat in the malt base, it gives it a little more depth and body without making it malty in a stereotypical way, still dry, earthy in a grounding sort of way with the hops, and smooth in feel too. peach rings, real peaches, and a little bit of tangerine to this, really attractive and even distinctive hop profile, id love to know which hops they used here, but its really well done. i love the low abv, the freshness of the feel and all, and the overall quality on display here. a real highlight, i hope they keep this one around for awhile! up there with the best hazy beers i have had in idaho so far!
