"Alrightly Then" is fresh off the farm. This wheat beer is infused with sweet luscious watermelons. It’s crisp and refreshing with little to no hoppiness with a light malt flavor that allows the melon to shine through. A true taste to summer!

Appearance:
Pale, yellow-gold, reminiscent of a wheat field under the late half of a country sunrise. A tiny white head that disappears almost the instant it arrives. No lacing to speak of.
Bouquet:
Sour, tangy, counterfeit watermelon; like those hard candies you get for 25¢ from old gumball machines.
Taste:
Anemic watermelon lollipop, straight from the dusty drawer of an old-world doctor's office. Humble, breadlike, wheat backbone prevents it from being totally laughable. Not bad at first brush but gets old real fast. I let the kitchen sink have the rest.
Feel:
The most inoffensive aspect of this ale aside from its appearance. Gentle bubbles, zippy citrus, and moderate carbonation. I enjoyed the feel better than the flavor.

Welcome back to another installment of Watermelon Wednesday! I had instituted it at the beginning of the summer, but as qualifying beers became harder to find, I kind of fell out of the habit. We're back for at least another week on what I suppose will be an occasional basis.
From the bottle: "Alrighty Then! is a wheat beer infused with sweet luscious watermelons fresh off the farm. It’s crisp and refreshing with little to no hoppiness. It has a light malt flavor that allows the melon to shine through. A true taste of summer!"
A Pop! of the cap and a vigorous pour & I was off and running. I got two fingers of foamy, rocky, eggnog-colored head with decent retention for my efforts. Color was a solid Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with NE-quality clarity. Nose certainly smelled of watermelon juice! Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was light, crisp and with just enough watermelon flavor to make it recognizable as such. I do not dispute their use of fresh watermelons as I have tried some watermelon beers that tasted like Jolly Ranchers and were as artificial as they come. This had a light watermelon taste which was appropriate, but I might have liked a little more of the flavor since it played so prominently on the label. Finish was semi-dry and entirely refreshing. I could easily see quaffing this on a hot Summer's day at the shore.

2.27/5: Smells and tastes ridiculously artificial; I'm most certainly not alright with this one
