Pretty dark orange/amber colour with a huge head of foam, though this makes me feel like the wizard's apprentice: the head just keeps rising and the glass keeps overflowing, while i keep taking sips of foam. A strong yeast and hop (nelson) profile in the nose. Nelson is also very manifest in the taste, together with spices (peppers, dill and even mustard seed can be noted) and an overall earthy profile. Finish is dry and a bit sour. Bitterness is quite low. Light/medium mouth feel. Not as funky as their brew "Mannenliefde", but still a very nice and original saison.
