Copenhagen 24/3 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Tov, Kbh Ø. What looks like figures drawn in the seventies dancing in a pink landscape on the label. I suppose it's an artistic take on the Planet Oedipus Festival 2018.
Quite gushy upon opening. Pours hazy golden yellow with very big white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma reminds me more of an IPA than a Saison. Sweet exotic fruit like peach and melon. Strong tart, citric notes. Tart berries, lemon and citrus. Lightly acidic.
Rather strong carbonation. Slightly thick, very lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong tart, bitterness. Aftertaste is tart but with a notable sweet undercurrent.
On the sweet side for an Saison but nicely balanced and with a lot of intensity whih manages to make me forget that the beer holds an ABV of 8,0.
