So easy to drink. My current go to beer. Best black lager I’ve found in and around the GTA. Old Flame also had my previous go to beer with its Brunette. Sorry darling went for the darker haired option.

Picked up a can from their new location in Newmarket Ontario,
Pours an opaque black-brown with a faint hint of red in the light. Very little head, which dissipated quickly. the scent is of toasted malts and coffee, . The mouthfeel is distinctly effervescent, which is normal for the style; very similar to a cola. Taste is exquisite: neither too sweet or too bitter, nor is it overly cloying which I have found is a common problem with this style. It has a dry, coffee-like flavor. Not overly complex, but highly drinkable: I down this is record time, as each sip invited the next. Also, the staff at the location I visited was highly knowledgeable and friendly.
