Tasted in a sampler flight at the brewpub. This was a good-looking West Coast IPA. It had a decent citrus nose, and moderate citrus hops flavors with a bit of malt. This was clean and drinkable, but nothing special.

On tap at Fifth Street Brewpub. 16oz pour in a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Very hazy gold with just a hint of amber. Thin white persistent foam with some persistent lacing.
Smell: I've had many highly aroma driven over the years, but this one is up there for one of the strongest I've ever had in aroma. Massive pine smell with some hints of onion and fresh cut grapefruit thrown in.
Taste: Very strong pine, balanced nicely with some sweet malt (caramel, bready), with another strong pine finish. Some peppery character at the finish. To say this beer is very hoppy is an understatement. I haven't had a beer this pine-forward since having a Bell's Hopslam many years ago.
Mouthfeel: Nicely thick, okay carbonation. Definitely a bit sticky with all the hop oils on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: As you probably guessed from my review, I'm impressed with how hoppy this beer is, and yet it isn't a palate wrecker. It's a sipping beer, but pleasantly so and I would not mind having another one. A mostly 1 hop flavor beer, but with quite a lot of depth. Next time I'm here I will definitely order this again.
