this way exceeded expectations for me, its awesome beer, my favorite from my trip to this under appreciated new brewery. its strong from the addition of the honey, but not overly malty or big because of it, and the booze is really well hidden. the honey flavor is awesome too, its not all the way fermented out, so you get the unique sweetness it lends, floral and summery. the base malt is more than just wheat it seems, with a nice clean fresh thing going on. my one critique would be the yeast, which is more like a french saison and a belgian ale strain hybrid. not as funky or unique as i hoped, they could work on this part i think, too generic there, but the rest of the beer more than makes up for it, its just so good, and just the right amount of residual sugar. i wish they didnt serve it in a pint glass. i love the idea of getting more beer, but a globe or tulip would suit this elegant beer so much better than a clunky pint. that said, i was happy for the extra beer. of the few beers i had here, this was easily the pick. i could drink enough of these to get super weird, maybe i will next visit...
