Drank directly from 16oz can
Smell: Light, inoffensive smell
Taste: Grassy, slightly sweet taste. Very faint, but present bitter notes. Reminds me of a BBQ
Feel: Soft with light, short-lived carbonation. Watery once bubbles die off
Overall: Might be good with food. Not terrible and an easy drinker. Probably won't buy again due to the price, but worth a try if lagers are your thing.

Pours effervescent gold with 3+ fingers of eggshell colored head. Decent lacing, below average head retention
S: Slight breadyness, grassyness
T: Wet cereal notes, grassyness, sweet grainynesss & a little dryness up front. Faint soapy & grassy hop notes once warm, grainy sweetness as well. Finishes with sweetness, a little grainyness, & a little dryness & a little pear, much cloying sweetness
MF: Light body, fairly firm carbonation, gets more watery as it warms
Pretty average offering, wish this great idea had some better beer behind it

Call it cause beer. Nice idea. Enjoying it because of its purpose. Hope you enjoy some too. Here's to my Uncle Sal, fallen in his last mission in the Pacific, and to my grandmother Lucy, whose 6 sons all contributed to WW2 and Korea.
A: Pours a deep gold body, with a sliver of white head that fades and leaves a only a bit of lace. Typical US Lager.
S: The aroma offers a bit of soap, along with light malts, lager yeast and bright hops.
T: The taste follows smell, with more malt sweetness combined with light citrus. Breadiness, lager yeast, white bread, a nice scrubbing finish. Like Pabst BR.
F: Crisp and smooth, light body, ample carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Fair beer if you're going to drink mass lager - get this one and honor our heroes.

Much better than the average macro, perhaps a little too sweet on the taste. Nothing a few more hops to balance wouldn’t cure.
The best thing about this beer is its cause, with each can remembering a fallen soldier. As a vet myself, I will continue to buy when I find it.

Poured out a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, bubbly white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, grains and floral notes. Sweet caramel flavor. Very minimal bitterness.

A quick shout out to 1LT Joseph J. Theinert Shelter Island, New York 14 Feb 1986-4 Jun 2010.
Looks like a lager. Clear golden color with tons of carb bubbles topped by a crackling three finger head of large white soapy bubbles.
Smells like sweet bread and corn. Just getting a lot of sweet on the nose.
Taste is like an AAL but just a bit sweeter.
Mouth actually leans toward the medium end with a wet slick finish.
Overall I am proud to try this beer and add it as my number 250. I like what this brewery is doing and I feel as if I am drinking a beer in honor of the soldier named on the backside of the can. The beer itself is standard AAL with a touch more sweetness.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: rich, clear golden hue with a finger of frothy white foam atop. Very nice looking, although a little more head retention would be nice.
Smell: richly malty and sweet; hops aren't particularly present but, for the style, it's pretty darn good.
Taste: it delivers on the aroma of sweet maltiness. It's not complex, but it does the job it's supposed to do. It reminds me of one of the better European pale lagers.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a solid carbonation and a decently refreshing creaminess.
Overall: a highly refreshing and drinkable beer. This is contract-brewed by Pabst, but even that being the case, it is a good example of the style.

Dog Tag Legacy Lager has a medium, white head, a very deep gold appearance, with some orange highlights, bubble streams, noticeable white chips of sediment (some are relatively large), and a bit of glass lacing. The aroma is of an unusual fruit note (apricots?), which I assume is from the hops. and some pale malt. Taste is of very sweet, white bread, that odd fruit thing, and a decent amount of straight-up bitterness. Mouthfeel is on the fuller side of it (high medium), and Dog Tag finishes crisp and clean.
