Irish Inspired Lager
DESCRIPTION:
A refreshing, golden lager. Brewed with European toasted malts.
THE STORY:
Atop Malvern Hill on July 1st, 1862, the immigrants of the 69th NY Regiment, Irish Brigade, held strong against General Lee's repeated assaults. But soon the Confederate tide began to overwhelm the Union line.
Undeterred, the 69th simply refused to hold. With their Gaelic battle cry, "Faugh a Ballagh!" (Clear the Way!), they charged into the teeth of one of the the South's most revered army regiments. This courageous offensive shattered the Confederate ranks and saved the Union Army from defeat. Even General Lee acknowledged their valor, referring to them as "that Fighting 69th." A name they continue to wear to this day.

The Fighting 69th became a centerpiece of the Union Army for the remainder of the Civil War, and emerged as one of the war’s most decorated units.
