On tap:
Pours to a rusty light brown more than a dark amber clear body. Light khaki head seems to have a little rust as well.
Bit of caramel to the light-medium toasted malt flavors. Carbonation is on the lighter side. Nose also has some caramel, but hints of spice as well - mixing earthy in with some holiday, oddly enough.
Some familiarity to other ESBs hits with some warmth, but overall it’s a bit tame, even for a style that can be a bit nuanced.
