Pours a thin white head with hardly any lace. Almost clear amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Grassy/hay nose and flavor is faint hops and hay, slight hoppy aftertaste. The 22oz bottle was a gift.

From the 650 ml. bottle direct from the brewery. Sampled on May 28, 2015.

Hazy light amber pour with short-lasting fizzy white head. Unfiltered cloudiness I expect.

Pale malts but an overwhelming fruit character along the lines of pineapple. Yet not tart like pineapple. More sweet. Not what I expected.

Light to medium body.

The taste also has a bit of that odd pineapple but it does have a modest bitter finish. I have enjoyed a lot of Belgian Mare brews but this one seemed a bit off. Oh well, one can't be 100% perfect and I will drink more of their other styles in the future.

Bottle from the brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a huge fluffy rocky off white head that slowly recedes while sticking lots of lace on the sides. Aromas of earthy hops with a bit of toffee and caramel to back it up. Light mineral and yeasty esters as well. The flavor is earthy hops and bitterness with a hint of astringency. Toffee and burnt sugars as well as some mineral water flavors with a lingering earthy bitterness and light astringency long after each sip. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and an earthy bitter mouthfeel. No a bad brew, has a nice English flair to it.
