The beer is amber to light brown in color. Smells of malty sweetness and some oakiness. Sharp, piney hop flavors that were hardly perceptible on the nose. Everything is smoothed and evened out by the oak. A decent/different beer.
Now the reason I gave this such a low overall score was because I purchased this bottle on location, stored it properly, and opened it less than a week after purchased and it gushed upon opening. I understand that it is a risk with bottle conditioned beers, but I was very dissatisfied. This was a VERY expensive beer and to be only left with eight ounces was very disappointing.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
