Now that I’ve had a few different beers from this series (spread out over the course of a week or so) I’m finding my optimism to grow less and less. This started with some promise, frothy appearance and all, and a welcomed hop note atop the nose. But after a few sips in and that promise comes crashing down with an uneven hop malt combo that ends up reminding me of wet cardboard or a paper bag. Oh I wanted to enjoy this more.
