Tasted from a 500 ml bottle bought at Knightly Spirits in Orlando, FL.
L - Bright, clear, medium brown beer with hints of ruby red. No head at all, just a few minuscule bubbles around the edge and streams of them rising through the beer.
S - Soft, vinegar-like sour aroma. Some earthiness and oak barrel character, along with cherries and brown sugar.
T - Rich cherry pie flavors up front, then the moderately tart vinegar character in mid-palate with oak and light smoke in the finish.
F - Light, slightly watery body. Low but prickly carbonation. Enough bitterness to moderate the sweetness, but not overpower the tartness. Just a touch of alcohol warmth.
O - Overall, this lacks some of the depth of flavors and aromas of the original Flemish Reds, but it's not a bad example and quite enjoyable.

Jaws Brewery "Looking For A Human"
500 ml brown glass bottle, "Date of bottling: 04.04.2017"
$5.99 @ Knightly Spirits O.B.T., Orlando, FL
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a clear dark chestnut body with orange and ruby highlights beneath a short head of yellowed off-white. As is common in sour beers, the head has dropped quickly. The aroma suggests tartness, dark skinned fruit, and medium colored caramel. So far it's right on for style. The flavor follow the aroma. It's tart but not too tart, not puckering, and balanced by sweet notes of brown sugar and medium dark caramel. Fruity notes of cherry, fig, dark raisins, and red wine give it life and then the oaky dryness steps in to dry it. In the mouth it's medium leaning towards medium light, and delicately effervescent and then smooth. Overall it hits the style on all points, although the body could be a little fuller, along with both the sweet malt and acidity. It seems a little watered down in comparison to the best examples from Belgium.
