Pours a hazy orange with a thin froth across the surface, patchy surface skim and spotty lace around the edges.
Aroma is nondescript and yeast dominated, something vegetal and earthy which must be the kola root/nut.
Taste is full of earthy root vegetable and moderate bitterness, yeasty and especially full bodied for a lager.
Not getting any mango or much fruitiness at all. Really dry bitter aftertaste, verges on medicinal.
Points for creativity and a cool label design, but i'm not sure how much of this i'd want to drink.
Seems like Marz' answer to Forbidden Root's beers.
