Pours a shiny black color with a thick two finger somewhat fizzy mocha colored head. Aroma has notes roasted malts, cocoa, and a hint of milk chocolate. Taste follows the nose with roasted malts, a bit of roasted nuttiness, bakers chocolate, cocoa and a hint of sweetness from the lactose. A touch of bitterness is noted on the finish. Simple profile but well executed. Feel is light, a tad thin. Medium carbonation - somewhat prickly. Semi-dry finish. Overall a solid stout from Marz. Doesn't get too sweet even with the lactose.

Tasted in a Spiegelau stout glass from a 12 fl oz can on February 14, 2018. Canned on 2/07/18. Look is dark brown with a thin tan head and little lacing. Nice creamy mouthfeel with a smooth finish.
