Poured from a 16oz can. This beer is a Wit with the flavor profile turned up to 11. Unfortunately there is little to no head, just a light lace around the edge of the glass. Thankfully there is still plenty of carb. The coriander profile of this beer is a little too strong for me and almost comes off as overdone. My friend described it as "soapy" and I can understand why. I'm honestly glad to see more small breweries producing Belgian style beers such as this and if you were craving a traditional Belgian ale this would scratch that itch.

Bought a 4-pack. Refreshing. Worth having 4 over this summer.
This is only Marz' second wit and, thus, it is hard to get the traditional wit's yeast right. But Mars has done pretty well for a prominent purveyor mostly of IPAs.

Marz' Wit Looks average, too little foam. Smells are barely more interesting with the traditional orange and coriander prominent enough. Tastes are balanced and refreshing enough. Medium mouth for a wit; the wheat also helps make it soft. Paired well with summer fare of a burger and salad.

I like Marz. They added an interesting food menu to their Bridgeport taproom and opened a taproom on the northside and are getting better Chicagoland distribution. And most important, they make good efforts to learn the Belgian tradition.

7/4/21 Had a second can and edited the above review and am satisfied and will keep count over @ UnTappd.

Served from the can in a snifter.

Sometimes you just have to appreciate a brewery that's so straightforward with its naming conventions. This stuff pours a mostly clear sunset amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises cracked wheat, coriander, candied orange peel, and a touch of black pepper. The taste brings in more of the same, the pepper character lessened to allow the coriander and wheat to do their things. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a liquid feel. Overall, a nice enough wit, nothing special, but pretty tasty and drinkable.
