Brewed with over 400 pounds of locally-grown, fresh-roasted organic butternut squash, our autumn imperial saison offers up just enough of an earthy warmth and subtle spice to let you know warm weather's on its way out soon. We brew this dry, amber farmhouse ale with loads of fresh, locally-grown produce, ferment with our house saison yeast strain, and spice gently at the end with fresh local turmeric root, Indian coriander seed, Ceylon cinnamon bark and crushed Szechuan peppercorns.

A friend of mine picked thus up from the brewery 12-17-22. Presumably canned sometime Fall 2022; consumed 7-4-23.
Beer poured copper-brown with a smallish off-white head.
Nose is cinnamon forward and is masking the Saison yeast characteristics.
Taste is very interesting as the larger ABV drinks lighter than advertised. The malt base with the squash is pretty straight ahead not giving any unique flavor and is pretty quickly overtaken by the spice additions. Getting notes of cinnamon, coriander, and turmeric. Finishes with a light pepper bittering edge.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing for a bigger beer.
Overall not your classic Saison but a fun one to try!

Came in a goblet a burnt orange infused amber with a thinner well sustained off white head atop.Aromas were on the lighter side with some with light cinnamon and ginger showing thru.Clove and cinnamon on the palate along with mild pumpkin and spiced sweet potatoes, the spices are quite warming and linger into the finish.A great holiday saison, quite a mish mash of ingredients,I liked it.

Cloudy light brown in appearance. Aromas of pumpkin, subtle hints of bourbon, and spices. Flavors of pumpkin, Bourbon, cinnamon, nutmeg with alcohol warming on the palate.
