Not much of a pop upon opening. The beer pours straw with no head signaling a almost complete lack of carbonation. It's unfortunate, because all the rest of the aspects of the beer are very well done. Nose is mostly very pleasant lemon. Taste is tart lemons with a light natural watermelon. Mouthfeel is fairly light despite being almost flat. I'd like to try it fully carbonated some day.

Appearance: Pours a hazy honey color capped by an inch of foam; strands of lacing line the glass
Smell: Lactic tones of watermelon and cucumber
Taste: The lactic watermelon and cucumber flavors jut forward with a spicy peppery aspect; additional fruit flavors arrive, in the middle, and the finish is moderately sour; cucumbers linger in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This beer was brewed with watermelon, silver needle tea leaves and white peppercorns; a fascinating use of these ingredients

@ Haw River
Slightly hazy orange body with not much of a head. Aromas of fresh watermelon, peaches, flowers, and light lemon. Flavors of watermelon, tart lemon, and juicy sour tartness. Light, tart, and puckering, Very refreshing...I'm picky with watermelon, but this is well done.
