Slightly hazed yellow gold topped with a loose, bubbly white head. Smells like regular Newlin's, but more vibrant: green grass, flowers, and lemon. Flavor is lemon/lime citrus, peaches, subtle Belgian yeast esters, light cracker malts. Feels light with lower carbonation. Tasty.

Poured into a Teku - nice golden-orange color with 3/4 inch white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Nose definitely benefits from the Citra hops - lots of orange and grapefruit, also get a little eucalyptus in there. Taste is a nice blend of the Belgian yeast and the citrusy hops, with more of an emphasis on the latter in the aftertaste. Moderately prickly carbonation but pleasant for the style. Overall, I think it's a slight improvement on the regular Newlin's - glad I got to try it.

Picked this up at the brewery last weekend.Pours into a large tulip glass a hazed tangerine color with bone white sticky thinner head atop. The Citra packs a nice punch in the nose, tropical and grapefruit-like aromas really pack that punch.Bright hops flavors up front with some light medicinal notes and toasted grain flavors in the finish, very refreshing. This is something that could be drank on the deck on a nice day....like today nine days before Christams...crazy!
