A beautifully delicate, delightfully hazy 6.7% Belgian-style India Wheat Ale that we brewed with many, many buckets of freshly-foraged, young Scrub Pine needles and tips found just down the hill from the brewery here in Saxapahaw. There's a soft bitterness that runs throughout and lingers just a little longer then usual from the use of fresh, bright, citrusy pine needles in the boil, finished with just enough resinous hops to connect the dots and keep things balanced.

Fundamentally a good beer with a bad boozy finish (at least this batch)

Came in a stemmed glass a slight hazed orange tinged sunshine yellow with a lacy bone white head atop.Pine and lemon aromas with just a tinge of yeast spice,a bit of toasted grain shown thru as well.Mellow up front on the palate but there is a nice citric quality that comes into play and the pine shows thru in the finish.Quite dry and the yeast is subdued a little,a very nice Belgian IPA.
