Poured from bottle bought in O'Brien's, Dublin. Murky amber, golden pour, mid-white, foamy cap. Aroma of spicy pear, slight malts. Taste follows, tangy pear and cloves. Crisp enough feel for a Saison. Pretty good.

Sharp, crisp, and drinkable. Standard saison accents in taste, with hay, mushroom, lemon, pepper, white pear, and funky yeast. Smell is more lemongrass and hay forward. Does not have rich depth, but also has plenty to keep you happy for a glass.

Have had the bottled version and found it a little bland, but tried the draught in "the Villager", Glasson Village and was very impressed.
Appearance is clear and golden, aroma deceptively sweet and fruity.
The taste is a delightful mixture of citrus and sharp hoppiness.
It is not overly sweet but is not excessively sour either.
I think this beer compares well with the best Irish ales and I will definitely be having more!

500ml bottle bought from McHughs, Dublin
Poured a nice light golden orange colour with a slight haze. White head poured pretty big, thick and fluffy with a pock marked topping then faded slowly to patchy covering... quite a lot of carbonation rushes to the surface... some good patchy lacing...
Aroma - Nice light toasted biscuit malts, spicy tart fruits (apples, pears, light lemon zest), grassy, hay notes, light nuttiness, metallic notes, quite floral, some talcum powder, quite yeasty, light caramel sweetness, faint rubbery hints...
Taste - Quite a lot of spicy yeastiness, tart (also overripe?) fruits (apples, pears, light grapefruits), slight vegetal notes, metallic, some chalkiness, salty notes, light toasted biscuit malts, bready, light floral honey sweetness, faint caramel, grassy hops...
Feel - Pretty sharp and dry... Light body... Very quaffable...
Overall - A pretty good saison. A few slight off notes but certainly worth a try...
