I also could've put this in the AIPA category, but give it to the English in deference that they were here before the Kiwis started growing American-like hops.
First, the name is good... but, it fooled me. I was expecting a marzen. (But, I am glad for what I got.)
Second, it is hazy as described in the can's copy. It Smells of fruit. It Tastes that way, but does use German malts... along with German hops.... so there is lots of cross-fertilization going on here. It finishes as it should... but is a bit dry for me.
The can is cool. Not a simple pop-top, but the entire top comes off so I could see my beer.
OA: I was pleasantly surprised on how the different traditions and ingredients were put together well in ways that did not seem possible.
