The perfect American Brown Ale. My thanks to my local pub -- The Ruck -- for carrying it!

12 oz can, w/o canning info that I can find.
Pours a chalky shade of dark brown, leaving behind scattered smaller blobs of fine bubble lacing.
Darker and smokier malty notes on the sniff.
Lighter milk chocolate notes on the palate, floating above darker malt goodness. Complex, with dark malts, milk chocolate and brown ale tastiness flowing around and through it. Well worth a try and did its job nicely as part of the cooking liquid for a pork shoulder on the smoker and then in the slow cooker.

16 oz can
pours a very dark brown color, cream colored head, pretty good head retention. aroma is fairly muted but has a bit of sweetness. taste is sort of milk chocolately, a bit too sweet for me. I prefer brown ales to be toastier and drier. medium bodied, feel is a little slick.
