This Mexican-style lager is brewed with New York corn and Zeus hops for a zesty kick. Notes of corn tortilla with a crisp lager finish make this a refreshing cerveza, with lime or without...

A: A solid forming head upon the pour is bright white, foamy and sturdy, with a cavernous and bubbly texture atop. Pale yellow pour sits a more dense orange in the chalice. Lively and macro-bubbly show within with small splashy deposits on the vessel walls.
S: Sweet corn and grains. Some dried whole wheat and oranges with a clean delivery throughout.
T: Sweet semi-dried tangerines for flavor with a wheat backing. Lager yeastiness delivers a really snappy back end bite. Quite flavorful, spicy, with some light lemon/lime accents.
M: Lively and crackly mouthful. Snappy and quite the show on the tongue with a full body backing per style.
O: Overall after a hard days work in the sun, this delivers a crisp and refreshing counter that i was hoping for. Very crisp, sharp and flavorful with Mexican like spicing, hits the spot without being over fulling and has good regards for continue drinkability.

Light gold slightly clear gold appearance.
Medium light carbonation with about a medium body.
Aroma is a nice mix of malt, corn chips, lime, and cornbread with honey.
Taste has a very light slight sweetness yet theres a mild hop bite on the finish that lingers. Theres corn, malt and just a little of that honey cornbread.
Overall it was a very good beer that I would try again

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy bright white head that died down a bit but consistently left a medium-sized head covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of corn adjuncts are present in the nose.
T: Moderate flavors of corn tortillas are present in the nose along with slight hints of herbal hops and a faint amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied, clean, and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has so much corn in it that it tastes like a liquid corn tortilla, but there are enough in the way of the underlying hops as they mask any sweetness and event contribute a slight amount of bitterness.
Serving type: can
