From a 32-ounce growler filled today at Cycle Brewing.
A pretty amber with a frothy white head.
Fantastic juicy citrus hop aroma. Big tropical smell.
Flavor mixes alcohol with tropical hop flavors that are almost smoky in their intensity.
Smooth body.
An excellent double IPA. Seek it out. Too bad it's not distributed in Sarasota or Manatee counties.

Fresh crowler, served in a snifter 4/13/2015.
A- Darker orange, slightly hazy body, one finger white head, not much retention, good lacing.
S- Rich caramel and toffee, a fair amount of tropical fruit and resinous piney bitterness. It's smelling quite sweet which isn't a bad thing in of itself. The hops seem to have faded a bit from what I would expect fresh as it is a bit sweeter than expected, but it's a crowler so who knows.
F- Caramel, a bit of tropical fruit, plenty of pine bitterness, strong pale malt sweetness. It's a fairly sweet IIPA that delivers a good balance of hops; it's not too much of one or the other although I would consider the malt to be the bigger player here. Fair amount of fruitiness from the hops, but plenty of sweetness from the malt.
M- Medium bodied, good carbonation, about right for the style. Not difficult to drink. A tasty brew that is missing a bit of complexity and intensity but is overall executed reasonably well.
O- Solid IIPA, not one of the best from the brewery but it is good.

Another juice bomb DIIPA from Cycle
Lots of fruit flavors going on with no fruit involved,
big NE hops from Saint Petersburg water, big white head and the aroma is incredible, so tropical.
