22oz bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours a deep black color with a think khaki colored head that has short retention
S- floral coffee notes up front with undertones of bitter cacao, chocolate covered raisin & dried figs
T- bold mocha espresso flavor up front, followed by dark chocolate, raisin, fig date, dark cherry & caramel, light barrel on the linger
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and finish
O- floral and fruity with nice chocolaty notes

Matte black with a creamy tan blanket settling to a thick, soft collar.
Smell is acidic coffee, cheesy wet wooden barrel, bourbon heat, roasted nuts, and metallic roasted malt.
Taste is sharp acidic coffee and bourbon heat cushioned by chocolate and mixed nuts combining to rich effect with a medium to thin body and semi-dry finish.
We did a 3rd Anniversary horizontal, and needless to say, the "DRINK FRESH!" was not adhered to by my fellow bottle-sharers. As such this probably suffered for it, but nonetheless, it was decent, and probably the (unexpected) favorite of the bunch.

really enjoyed this beer - thought it was the best of the 5 from the anny series. Thought that the coffee added balanced the beer perfectly. Which I had another bottle!
