On tap at Civil Society's 2nd Anniversary. Lightly hazy. Smells of garlic and onion. A little grapefruit. Tastes much the same. Garlic and onion. Grainy malt. Light pale malt flavor. This was a little late in the day at Civil's event, so it's possible I was socializing more than pondering the intricacies of each beer I sampled. As such, I did not mention lactose at all in my notes. Lactose is one of those flavors I don't handle well, so that either means it's subtle in this beer or I was ticking irresponsibly. I may never know.
