Part 3 of the Cycle trilogy. Old ale with maple and lactose. Very dark brown, some pale foam. Smells like treacle and maple. Thick, warming alcohol. Taste is pretty sweet, with some soyy umami present. Lots of maple, of course, maybe too much together?

Bottle at share. Dark brown, still, collar of tan head. Big maple notes in the aroma and taste. Sweet and syrupy with a little bit of heat. Slippery and oh so tasty.

This one pours a darkish brown, with a small white head, and a little bit of lacing.
This one smells like robustly sweet maple, vanilla, lactose, caramel candy, and sweet bourbon.
This is incredibly sweet, but it just stops short of being straight maple syrup and lactose. The lactose is almost too much, but it does give the beer a very wonderful creamy character. The syrup is dark and robust, and fairly sweet. The sweetness is lightly tempered by some hot bourbon bitterness. There's some oak too, and that helps a bit. There's milk chocolate and caramelized sugar
This is extremely creamy, with a big body to it, and not too much booziness.
It's hard to drink a whole lot of this, but it's certainly decadent and tasty.

My first bottle from Tavour, which seems like the French translation of “supporting a terrible/expensive habit”. It’s not my first language. 22 oz. bottle split with my wife.
The pour is dark brown, but not brown in the I-just-stepped-in-that way, but rather brown in the beloved-old-leather-baseball-glove brown. Smells like maple. I’d drink maple syrup for breakfast if it was socially acceptable.
Maple MW has two unnecessary letters tacked on the end of the beer name. This is maple. Maple & what must be a great base beer, because it holds up the maple & adds absolutely nothing. Thick, decadent, sticky, sweet.
I believe this is the best single-note beer I’ve ever tasted. The maple is excruciatingly delicious without being cloying or too light. That’s a neat trick. Excellent beer.
