Dark brown body. Rich vanilla and mac nut, mild toasted coconut in the background, chocolate fudge and bourbon throughout. Medium fuller bodied, nice carb, has a bit of baker's chocolate bitterness on the backend to add depth. Nicely done as expected

22oz bomber from a set purchased through Tavour.
I fucking hate the "Look" category.
S: Sweet toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, barrel
T: Plum, nut, raisin confection covered in dark chocolate and dunked into a barrel of bourbon, liquid dripping into your mouth as you place the morsel onto your tongue.
F: A stout with substance. Thick, a bit chewy, but with a smoothness associated with fine chocolate and bourbon (Eagle Rare?).
O: Adjuncts that impart their unique flavors without the sickly sweetness of today's pastry stouts. Another offering that solidifies Cycle as one of the top BA stout breweries.

Pours black with ruby edges at 53°; fast fizzy reddish brown head; poor cap retention; thin ring with a small island of micro dots; flecks of coconut on surface; thin legs on swirl. Nose is an assault of chocolate fudge, vanilla and coconut. Taste follows nose with chocolate fudge, milk chocolate, vanilla, and coconut; macadamia nuts in middle; finish is full on fudge and vanilla. Medium plus body; rich, smooth feel; moderate minus carbonation; some warmth from 11.5% abv. Overall, rich and velvety for Cycle; plenty of vanilla and coconut; macadamia nuts hold their own; all three flavors blend harmoniously with the fudge; like drinking a a chocolate macadamia nut cookie with vanilla icing and toasted coconut sprinkles; no wonder this was the only “weekly” Cycle stout that sold out this year at TBBW. Delicious!

Oily black with a brown ring and small coconut pieces floating. Smell features huge vanilla and bourbon with the macadamia and coconut supporting in a sweeter way, with fudge too. Taste is a fudgy and boozy macadamia nut cookie, a nectar of a stout, very pleasing and full in flavor. Feel is thick, chewy, and brighter for a cycle stout, a satisfying blend of booze warmth and vanilla coolness carries the body. Best of the series for 2020 so far! The wife loved it
