Bottle at share. Hump day. Inky black pour, thin tan head. Aroma is rich, dark chocolaty notes, some coffee, cinnamon and light cherries. Taste features the cherries and cinnamon in a more prominent role, sweet, savory flavors on top of the dark chocolate and light coffee bitterness.

A unique set of flavoring here has to be the first aspect discussed: cherry and vanilla combine with the barrel to have a cherry/vanilla cola flavoring with light molasses and cinnamon oozing out, before the coffee emerges from the depths to meet. It's odd but good. Smells as it tastes, get more booze here than taste. Feel is thick, smooth with light coffee percolation, good viscosity and warmth. Unique but don't need to have again

Deep black body; initial thick and frothy dark brown head that fades to a tiny ring circling the glass with spotty patches in the middle. A fantastic smell combining elements of sweet chocolate, cherries and vanilla. The taste plays off the aroma with the addition of some strong cinnamon and boozy character added to the mix. Thick body, dry and sticky.

Pours dark with fluffy, almost ruby hued lacing. Smell is strong cherry and vanilla. I’d almost swear i get coconut, but definitely not sensing coffee or cinnamon, nor a barrel presence. Taste is cherry forward in a sweet vanilla surrounding, definite cinnamon spiciness with just a hint of coffee and a definite barrel burn. Medium bodied, a slight thickness to it, not oily, and the barrel definitely imparts some booziness. Good, even if the cherry asserts itself a little too strongly for my taste.
