Love Cycle barrel aged beers. This is yet another great example. Strong adjuncts flavors with an assertive barrel presence. Slightly thick, big bodied, boozy.

Oily black body with a brown collar. Bourbon holds together a mix of aromas: rich coconut, full vanilla, nutty pecan, fudgy chocolate, and a touch of caramel. Taste does well to meld everything together: great blend of coconut and pecan meeting the barrel in a toasty fashion, supported by usual cycle fudgy trappings. Heavy and thick but keeps the booze and sweetness in check, very smooth in a warming way. This is the best cycle stout I have had in a while

Pours an opaque darkness, basically black; initial thin, dark brown head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring around the glass. Huge aroma effusing dark, roasted, charred grain; coconut; very faint esters; a suggestion of bourbon. The taste magnifies the aroma; rich, dark grain sweetness; dark chocolate; soothing coconut sweetness taming the Wild Turkey booziness; sly note of pecan. Heavy, oily mouthfeel; dense and chewy.
Cycle Brewing has created a superb beer to commemorate their 10th anniversary (one of four beers, actually). As always, they don't list the actual ABV (they don't have the expensive equipment to accurately measure it with the barrel aging per my correspondence with the brewery), but the 12% listed on BA seems in the ballpark. Anyway, this is a superb dark beer treat, rich, elegant, and decadent.

Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. Medium to thick body, a touch of woodsy booze in aroma, slightly sticky, nice chocolate and nutty sweetness and has a touch of lactic slickness in finish with well-hidden booze and a dangerous sipper.

poured from a 22oz bomber into a TG assassin teku. pours thick and oily black with virtually no foam. bourbon, sweet coconut, chocolate and event hints of vanilla on the nose. this one’s sweet but the taste is balanced by a pecan nuttiness. again, the taste isn’t overly as sweet as i thought it would be. decadent for sure. thick, almost syrupy mouthfeel. this was super good.
