I normally order every Cycle day of the week beer Tavour puts out. I didn’t buy Wednesday 2025 because I don’t like peanuts. I should have remembered that last year when they released this beer that I like hazelnut even worse. This is a well made beer, as always by these guys, but I can’t enjoy the flavor that much and will probably drain pour it instead of finishing. Not a fan and wish I saved the money.

Pitch black viscous pour, dark brown head. Smell is amazing: big hazelnut and chocolate with great bourbon barrel, with cinnamon, coffee and a hint of vanilla. Taste has more of a breakfast stout complexion with hazelnut added. What I wanted KBS hazelnut to taste like! Feel is thick and smooth with moderate warmth from the barrels.

poured from a 750mL bottle into a TG DBA tumbler. pours thick and shiny black with a finger of dark mocha brown foam head that quickly fades away. the bourbon spice is accentuated by the cinnamon but there’s also hazelnut and a hint of chocolate too. taste follows and it almost comes off as a sort of breakfast stout although it typically i would associate coffee and / or maple as a main component in something like that. but this works and the cinnamon seems to edge out the hazelnut just a bit. thick, full mouthfeel. wonderful.
