Poured from a 750ml bottle into a Cycle Brewing snifter.
Pours inky black with the slightest mocha ring on the glass, with no lacing, swirling the glass creates tiny spots of lacing, and it stains the glass with deep leathery alcohol legs.
Nose is Bourbon, cocoa powder, and more Bourbon.
Taste is dark chocolate and Bourbon with a sour dark cherry finish. Not too sweet, not too bitter, not too sour, and not too boozy. Everything works well from start to finish.
Mouthfeel is velvety and smooth, with minimal carbonation. Some of Cycle’s stout tend to be very thick. This is on the thinner side for them, which is a good thing.
Cycle calls this brew “Our finest BA Stout ever? Probably.” They might be right.

Poured from a 750mL bottle into a Mikerphone tumbler. Pours like chocolate syrup with minimal bubbles and hardly no foam. Dark chocolate, whiskey, light dark fruits and cocoa powder on the nose and taste. Super smooth, really chocolaty but not super sweet either. Full mouthfeel. Lower level of carbonation to it. This is right up my alley. Really liked it.

Pours with a very thick sound. Minimal head with light tan lacing. Scent is bourbon and chocolate. Taste is bourbon and chocolate. Big bodied, bold, thick, and boozy. A whopper of a beer.
