On tap at Peg’s during the Berliner Bash. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a nice light golden color with a thin fizzy white head that falls quickly. The nose brings some white and a bit of light citric character with some backing lactic acidity. Flavor is slightly tart with a touch of citrus and wheat. Light body and mild acidity. A very nice berliner.

Review from notes at Peg's Cantina on 9/10/11.
Draft poured into a footed pilsner glass.
Appearance: Poured a clear light gold with a 2 finger foamy snow white head. Excellent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Sour grapes with a hint of vinegar.
Taste: Wine grape hulls, muscadines and a touch of vinegar. Very sour beer with sweet notes mixed in. While the description may not say much, it was an excellent flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. Very smooth.
Drinkability: Excellent drinkability. Goes down easy.
Overall: Excellent beer overall. This was one of the highlights from a long weekend of drinking a lot of different beers. Give this one a try if you get the chance.
