Poured on draft in a tulip glass. Nearly black color with mocha colored foam. Aroma of roasted oats and vanilla. Taste is oat stout with vanilla and a bit of sugary sweetness. Medium body. Overall it is a quite nice. While not cloying, it is a tad too one-note sweetness without enough bitter or roast flavors to balance it out. Perhaps the addition of coffee or barrel aging would take it to the next level. On the other hand, more flavors came out as it warmed, especially the alcohol and char. Consider letting it warm up before drinking.
