12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a small creamy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet honey bready malt with with light noble hop.

The flavor is sweet honey malt with slight vegetal notes and metallic noble hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, sweet pale ale with some off notes.

not the most inspired pale ale i dont think. it may hang on the edge of being english style, by virtue of its grain bill and its balance, as well as very subtle, seemingly old world hopping. i dont dislike the beer, but it doesnt have a ton of flavor. i think its best feature is easily the appearance, which is radiant brassy golden with a luxurious soapy white head with great retention. the flavor just really isnt there though, not bad in any way, but mostly light crystal malt in the flavor and bittering hops only. so simple, its like a basic homebrew kit or something, nothing new or unique or even remotely clever that i can notice in it, but the execution is pretty solid, so its hard to knock it too hard. the bartender called it her go to, which has me a little concerned, but all of the other beers i had at wonderland were both more tasty and equally well executed, so this may have been a poor place to start. skip this one in favor of either of the ipas if you are looking for that sort of thing up there, both are excellent. this one much less so.

This little brewery is just across the street from my work so very easy to get great fresh beer. I really love the 32 Oz cans you can buy right there and take with you. They can it right at the bar.
