this was easily my favorite of the beers on at wonderland. its a big hazy honey colored ipa with a fun citrus and tropical hop profile and almost no residual bitterness. probably an excellent ipa to turn people onto the style that think they arent into it, it has that mass appeal element while still being true enough to style to satisfy me and my critical assessment nature. citra has to be in this, maybe even in the dry hopping, as thats the sort of aroma i get. its a little messy, definitely some other hops going on in here, and maybe some temperature issues, as the beer has some grainy weirdness to it in the middle, but the hops are well enough scheduled and dosed that it tastes pretty good, albeit rather mild as they go. carbonation could be amped up a few notches to make this more of a refreshing drink, but it tastes great even without it. something a little different too with the yeast hanging around in here. some may see it as sloppy, but i kind of like that aspect. overall solid beer, the best one i had today on my visit. worthwhile place to check out too if you are in the neighborhood up there.
