Our first foray into mixed fermentation. New World Saison Blend from Escarpment Labs and Dry Hopped with Citra, Amarillo and Hallertau Blanc hops and bottle conditioned. Let's Get Funky.
Featuring a grist of mainly Pilsner malt, with a small amount of Rye and Spelt thrown in, the beer was fermented with the New World Saison blend from Escarpment Labs. This blend contains a blend of Saccharomyces and Brettanomyces strains, to give characteristics of fruit, funk, and “rustic charm”, all of which are perfect for a traditional Saison.
10 IBU

Cloudy straw yellow wiith a nice head and cap. Bright fruity nose. Light body with some funk and dryness.
