On tap at the brewery on June 30, 2017 .
It pours a copper color with a modest off-white head.
The aroma has a strong malt forward character that has a tanan character like a Red Ale. There was also a kind of grainy character. The hops are floral.
The body felt medium.
The 9% ABV was more notable in the flavor with a grainy alcohol kind of sensation. The malts were toasted and the hops ended aggressively bitter but not as floral as in the aroma.
